Ratio Divelogger is operated by DiveLogger.eu (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Data Collected by the App

The App itself does not collect personal data such as your email, first name, last name, or username.The App only processes the following data locally on your device:

• Dive logs imported from Ratio dive computers
• App settings and preferences
• A secure authentication token used to communicate with the DiveLogger.eu web portal

This information remains on your device unless you choose to synchronize with the web portal.The App does not:

• collect analytics
• collect location data
• use advertising identifiers
• use third-party tracking
• share data with third parties

2. Data Collected by the DiveLogger.eu Web Portal

If you create an account on the DiveLogger.eu portal, the following information is collected:

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Username
• Password (stored securely in hashed form)

Your account is required only if you choose to synchronize dive logs with the web portal.The Service may also store:

• Dive logs synchronized from your device
• Metadata required for the operation of your account

Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used strictly for:

• User account creation and authentication
• Synchronization of dive logs between your device and the DiveLogger.eu portal
• Displaying and managing your dives in the App and on the web
• System security and maintaining the integrity of user accounts

All data is used solely for App Functionality and Account Management.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• Dive logs stored locally on your device remain only on the device unless synchronized.
• Dive logs synchronized with the web portal are stored securely in your account.
• If you delete your account, synchronized data is permanently removed from our servers unless legally required to retain minimal records.

If you uninstall the App, all locally stored dive logs are removed from your device.

5. Authentication Token

The App stores an authentication token on your device:

• used only to securely communicate with the DiveLogger.eu portal
• not shared with third parties
• not used for tracking or advertising

6. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The App and Service are intended for general users and comply with COPPA and GDPR requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

Communications between the App and the web portal are protected with HTTPS/TLS encryption.However, no system can guarantee 100% security.
